Stellantis plans $13bn US investment to beat Trump tariffs

Jeep owner to create 5,000 jobs in Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Indiana, sparking fears over Canadian plant

Stellantis has pledged to invest a record $13bn in the US over the next four years in a bid to mitigate the effect of Donald Trump’s tariffs and boost its production of petrol and hybrid vehicles.
