Weight-loss and fertility drugs sold by Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly and EMD Serono are expected to be among the medicines available on Donald Trump’s direct-to-consumer drug website when it launches on Thursday evening.
TrumpRx.gov, which will direct people to websites where they can purchase drugs at a discount, is expected to offer more than 100 drugs as part of the US president’s drive to bring down consumer costs ahead of the midterm elections in November.
Certain AstraZeneca and Pfizer drugs would also be available on the website, people familiar with the matter told the FT before TrumpRx went live.
