Starmer says UK government ‘finalising’ defence plan, but no date yet

PM blames ‘over-commitment and underfunding’ by the previous government for delays to military’s 10-year spending blueprint

He claimed the plan, which was initially due to be published last autumn, was in its final stages but admitted in response to questioning about its release: “I can’t give you a date.”
