Officials at the Treasury Department are looking at potential restrictions on US investments in China biotech, according to multiple sources familiar with the discussions.
At least two sources told Endpoints News, based on direct conversations with department officials, that they believe biotech is likely to be included in coming draft regulations that will say which sectors are going to be subject to outbound investment screening.
