KODAK EXPECTS $7BN A YEAR DIGITAL REVENUES

Eastman Kodak, the US imaging company, expects strong demand in Asia to lift its digital revenues to about $7bn a year from about $5.5bn within three years, Antonio Perez, chief executive, said on Friday.

“We expect the digital revenues of the company to grow close to double digit, between 7 and 9 per cent [a year],” Mr Perez said in Singapore. “And that growth is going to be in large part driven by Asia.”

Kodak, which is undergoing a painful transformation from a reliance on film manufacturing to a range of digital products, expects to move back into profit this year after reporting a loss from continuing operations of $232m for 2009.
