Swiss business school IMD has become the latest European school to sign up with the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business to run executive short courses. CKGSB was China’s first private business school.
The partnership between the two schools is for a three-and-a-half day programme to run on IMD’s campus in Lausanne. The programme, China Strategy Challenge, will be taught jointly by IMD and CKGSB professors and is intended for senior European executives who want to know how to do business in China, although the programme will dovetail with CKGSB’s CEO programme, which will bring Chinese executives into the classroom too.
CKGSB is very business-focused, says Dominique Turpin, president of IMD, the executive short course specialist. “It is a school that has picked up an interesting niche.”
