Kim Jong Un has claimed North Korea has made nuclear warheads small enough to be mounted on ballistic missiles, according to state media, in the Communist state’s latest boast of its weapons technology development.
“The nuclear warheads have been standardised to be fit for ballistic missiles by miniaturising them,” the official Korean Central News Agency quoted Mr Kim as saying. “This can be called true nuclear deterrent.”
Images were also published of the North Korean leader standing next to what was said to be a miniaturised weapon.
