One of the women accused of killing Kim Jong Un’s half-brother protested her innocence on Wednesday as she was charged with murder in a Malaysian court.
Doan Thi Huong, a 28-year-old Vietnamese, appeared alongside 25-year-old Indonesian Siti Ashyah. The charges were read out to the two women, who were asked if they understood.
“I understand,” Ms Huong told the court in English. “But I am not guilty.”
