Israel files complaint after German ambassador attends judicial overhaul hearing

Netanyahu’s government considers diplomat’s presence in Israeli court an ‘interference’ in its domestic affairs

Israel has lodged a formal complaint with Germany after Berlin’s ambassador attended a court hearing on the controversial judicial overhaul being pushed by Benjamin Netanyahu’s far-right government.
