Police in Germany and the Netherlands have arrested four suspected members of Hamas who they say were planning terror attacks on Jewish institutions in Europe.
A statement from Germany’s Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office said the four were suspected of membership of a foreign terrorist organisation.
Three men — identified only as Abdelhamid Al A and Ibrahim El-R, both born in Lebanon, and Egyptian national Mohamed B were arrested in Berlin. A fourth, Dutch national Nazih R, was arrested by Dutch police in Rotterdam acting on a European warrant.
