Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has secured an audience with JD Vance as the US vice-president visits the UK, as has would-be Tory leader Robert Jenrick — but Kemi Badenoch has not.
Farage will meet the vice-president as his party rides high in the polls in the UK, building on his long-standing relationship with US President Donald Trump.
Vance will also meet Jenrick, the shadow justice secretary, whose profile has been boosted by a series of viral videos since he lost the race to be Tory leader to Badenoch last November, and who is widely believed to still harbour leadership ambitions as the Conservative party struggles to regain traction.
