As the first day of the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference progressed, we heard a lot of talk about deals — they’re a “top priority” for Bristol Myers CEO Chris Boerner, and Moderna is looking at “a number of opportunities.”
But we didn’t see many deals get done. Revolution Medicines has been the subject of takeover rumors over the past week, but CEO Mark Goldsmith wouldn’t address the speculation. He would only say that company impact is more important to him than size.
