Multiple blasts rocked the centre of the Syrian capital on Tuesday morning. Footage on Syrian media showed a parked car on fire and a separate explosion at a large intersection, with dark smoke billowing over the city.
A Syrian security official was cited by state media as saying that two crude explosive devices had detonated and that security forces were searching for those behind the attack.
