UPS in drive to tap China’s booming domestic market

United Parcel Service, one of the largest package delivery companies, is moving ahead with plans to establish a domestic service in China as it seeks to tap into booming consumer and business demand in the country.

“The opportunities are tremendous,” Dan Brutto, president of UPS International, told the Financial Times. “If you take a look at the growing middle class, in the future the domestic market is going to be worth billions.”
