Bentley has reported the second-best annual sales in its history after selling more cars in China than the UK for the first time in its history.
The Crewe-based carmaker said yesterday that it delivered 7,003 cars to customers last year, up 37 per cent on 2010 and its best annual result since the record 10,000-plus sales it reported in 2007, before the recession began.
The US is still Bentley’s biggest market, and its deliveries there rose by more than a third in 2011 to 2,021 cars.
