Ex-Taiwan military accused of spying

Three former Taiwanese military officials have been arrested by Taiwan on suspicion that they were spying for China, the latest in a string of arrests that highlight the continued conflict in cross-strait relations despite increasing economic ties.

A spokesperson said two other former personnel had been arrested but declined to give details of their titles.
