ICI Global, a trade association for global fund managers, is to open an office in Hong Kong on May 1, a reflection of the rapid growth of the asset management industry in Asia.
Qiumei Yang, a senior executive from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, has been hired to oversee ICI Global’s operations in Asia.
ICI Global was set up by former FSA senior regulator Dan Waters in October 2011.
