Amazon is not the only technology giant muscling into the drone business.
Google on Monday agreed to buy Titan Aerospace, a US drone manufacturer, for an undisclosed sum. The announcement comes weeks after Facebook purchased Ascenta, a UK-based drone maker.
Titan, which has some 20 employees and operates out of New Mexico, makes high-altitude drones that are meant to stay in the air for years.
