The majority of China's provinces have long used to collectively report economic growth numbers that somehow exceeded the national figure. But analysts at BofA Merrill Lynch have observed that this long-held discrepancy has suddenly and sharply reduced.
Back in 2011, 29 out of 31 Chinese provinces somehow achieved growth that was higher than the national headline figure.
