New home prices in China deflated at a record pace in January, again.
China's National Bureau of Statistics said its property prices index for January showed that new home prices fell 5.1 per cent from a year ago. The 4.3 per cent decline in December was the largest drop since the current data series began in 2011.
On the a monthly basis prices fell in 64 of the 70 cities tracked, versus 65 a month before.
