Istanbul’s largest airport was hit by two suicide attacks that left at least 10 dead and more than 20 injured, Turkish officials said on Tuesday.
Turkey’s interior ministry said the explosions went off at the entrance to the departures terminal at Ataturk International airport.
The two assailants blew themselves up before the security point on the way into the terminal, officials said. Witnesses reported gunfire as security guards tried to stop the attackers.
