At least 50 people have been killed and 200 injured after a gunman opened fire on the crowd at a country music festival in Las Vegas on Sunday evening, mowing down concert goers and triggering panic around the city’s famous gambling strip.
The attack is the deadliest mass shooting in US history, worse than last year’s Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting that left 49 dead.
A suspect fired shots from the direction of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino into the crowd at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, Sheriff Joseph Lombardo told a press conference.
