Softbank’s much-anticipated investment in Uber could be finalised within the next few days, according to the ride-hailing company’s board member Arianna Huffington.
“We expect to have an announcement pretty soon,” Ms Huffington said on Monday night, adding that the deal would come “very likely in the next week”.
After months of crisis, the multibillion-dollar deal is a key part of Uber’s attempt to start a fresh chapter under new chief executive Dara Khosrowshahi.
