North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will be served the South Korean version of rösti during Friday’s summit with President Moon Jae-in.
Seoul’s presidential Blue House said yesterday that the fried potato dish had been chosen for the welcome dinner for Mr Kim in homage to his childhood spent in Switzerland.
The North Korean leader is believed to have been educated in Switzerland, though North Korea has not confirmed it.
