Chinese airline-to-finance conglomerate HNA has announced that co-chairman Chen Feng will absorb the duties of his colleague Wang Jian, who died in a fall in France this week, but left unanswered the question of what happens to Mr Wang's stake in the company.
Mr Wang held 15 percent of the group, according to filings, as did Mr Chen, who is now sole chairman of the board.
Adam Tan will continue as chief executive officer, HNA said. Mr Tan has handled many of the group's $15bn divestment this year following a $40bn acquisition spree. He holds about 3 per cent of the group, according to filings.
