In a curt six-line statement, China’s ministry of education sent a warning this month to the country’s universities, with news of a purge of their links with foreign institutions.
Attached to the announcement were two spreadsheets listing 234 joint degrees and partnerships it ordered to be closed by the middle of July.
That included 24 undergraduate and masters qualifications in business administration and finance with links to institutions in countries including Australia, the US, the UK, France and Russia.
