Tributes have poured in from leaders around the world for John McCain, the Republican senator who died on Saturday after a long battle with cancer.
The former presidential candidate passed away a day after his family said he would halt treatment for a malignant brain tumour that he was diagnosed with last summer.
In a tribute, Barack Obama said: “Few of us have been tested the way John once was, or required to show the kind of courage he did.” Mr Obama and George W Bush, who competed against McCain in the 2000 Republican presidential primary, are expected to speak at the funeral.
