Donald Trump slammed Iran at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, telling the body that the leaders of the Islamic regime “sow chaos, death and destruction” and warning Tehran that he planned to ratchet up economic pressure on the regime.
In his second address to the UN body, Mr Trump said Iran does not respect its neighbours or the borders of sovereign nations.
“Iran’s leaders plundered the nation’s resources to enrich themselves . . . to spread mayhem across the Middle East and far beyond,” Mr Trump told the members states attending the UN General Assembly.
