Mohamed Morsi, the former Islamist Egyptian president who was ousted by the military in 2013, has died in court, according to state media.
State television said Mr Morsi fainted after a court session and died afterwards.
A leader of the Muslim Brotherhood group, Mr Morsi was elected president in 2012 in the country’s first-ever free presidential election. He was removed a year later by a popularly-backed coup led by Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the current president who then served as defence minister.
