A man has been shot dead by armed police officers in the south London suburb of Streatham in an incident authorities said was terror-related.
The Metropolitan Police said in a tweet on Sunday afternoon it believed there were two injured victims. It had earlier said “a number” of victims had been involved in a stabbing incident. It said the scene had been fully contained, and that it was awaiting updates on the victims’ conditions.
Police, who said the incident had been declared as terror-related, added circumstances were being assessed, and asked Londoners to avoid the area.
