China ‘concerned’ at lack of contact, says PM’s father

Boris Johnson’s father has claimed Chinese officials were “concerned” at the prime minister’s failure to send a personal message to the country’s leadership in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

The emails were sent by Mr Johnson following a 90-minute meeting with Liu Xiaoming, the Chinese ambassador to the UK, on Tuesday, the BBC reported.
