South Korea’s new coronavirus cases ticked higher again on Wednesday as the country struggles to stamp out one of the worst outbreaks in Asia.
The Korea Centers for Disease Control reported 100 new cases, up from 76 on Tuesday, and taking the total infection caseload to 9,137. Six additional deaths were confirmed, pushing the death toll to 126.
Still, new infections are outpaced by recovering patients with 223 new recoveries taking the tally to 3,730.
