Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is facing a criminal sex complaint for allegedly groping a woman.
The complaint, filed in the Albany city court, accuses the former governor of “forcible touching” by reaching under a woman’s blouse in December 2020 at his executive mansion “for the purposes of degrading and gratifying his sexual desires”.
Cuomo resigned from his office in August after a damning report by Letitia James, the New York attorney-general, found that he had violated state and federal law by sexually harassing 11 women.
