Huawei’s revenues grew at their slowest pace in three years in 2025, as declining sales at its cloud computing division and weak smartphone growth dented the tech conglomerate’s comeback from US sanctions.
The Chinese group on Tuesday reported a 2.2 per cent rise in revenues to Rmb880.9bn ($127bn) last year, compared with growth of 22.4 per cent achieved in 2024. Net profit increased 8.7 per cent to Rmb68bn.
The slowdown follows several years of strong sales growth at the Shenzhen-based company, as it mounted a steady comeback from a series of US sanctions and regulatory actions since 2019.
