Feng shui master in battle over Wang estate

Was it love or money that drew Tony Chan – at the time recently married and unemployed after the failure of his feng shui school – to Nina Wang, then Asia's richest woman?

The question lies at the heart of a court battle between Mr Chan and a foundation run by Ms Wang's siblings for control of the $3.9bn (€2.8bn, £2.4bn) estate left on her death in 2007, aged 69.

The foundation contests the legitimacy of a will naming the feng shui master as Ms Wang's heir. A previous will made the foundation her primary beneficiary.
