Defuse trade tension by cutting car import tariffs to zero

We live in uncertain times. To some extent that is the nature of global business and international affairs, but the current uncertainty is largely self-inflicted.

When it comes to the spat around trade terms between the US, China and the EU, we at Volvo Cars are deeply worried by the plans of world leaders to impose double-digit tariffs on car imports.

As the leader of a global car business, I represent a group of companies that favour free and fair trade.
