The Pentagon has published a trove of documents related to alleged alien phenomena including unidentified flying objects, saying it is up to the public to “make up their own minds” about the mysteries they contain.
Friday’s release consists of 161 files, including photographs, witness testimony and investigative reports, and comes after decades of pressure from campaigners ranging from the curious to the conspiratorial.
The move comes after Congress stepped up efforts during Joe Biden’s presidency to increase disclosure of documents related to strange sightings.
