‘VICIOUS DOGS' SET TO LOSE THEIR BITE

On September 25 last year Cao Dahe, 30, died of heart failure on a train from Guangzhou to Zunyi in southern China after being strapped to his seat by the train's conductor and members of China's railway police.

They had tied him up a day earlier, after he suffered a psychotic episode and began screaming and trying to jump out of the window of the moving train.

Fellow passengers begged the train conductor and police to release him but they refused, and returned on three occasions to make the bindings tighter.
