“With a greedy person it’s a bottomless pit,” the man explained. “The worst thing is that you can’t live up to expectations, because expectations keep moving. You can never achieve anything. It’s starting over every day with a goal, which is pushed further away.
“Either you become completely subservient to the person who is driven by greed and you lose your mind eventually, or you get into a massive conflict and then you leave.”
